I’m curious about where people started out!

I am editing some old content for a product we are finally upgrading and bringing into the modern era of computing. This document set was written by the two men who used to be my bosses and, now, no longer work for the company.

There are notes in the text that appear like this:

Switching over to the Text Editor in Madcap Flare, I expected to see something similar to this line of code:

What I saw, however, made my jaw drop.

This was how they had coded the notes:

I’m trying to get back into the groove of writing and find myself totally lacking in ideas/mojo by the time I get home from work. It’s difficult to switch gears, I think, from writing documentation to telling stories.

Then, leave me the title and a prompt for an outtake in my inbox. In turn, over the next few days, I shall endeavor to write said outtake and post it here on tumblr. It may be a drabble or ficlet, whatever my muse comes up with. But, the hope is that my muse comes up with something! LOL
